Kayla Ferguson, MA, CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech language pathologist in the state of Virginia who holds national certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has been a practitioner of speech therapy for nearly 10 years. Kayla has experience in delivering skilled evaluative and therapeutic services to adults in the areas of cognitive communication (e.g. attention, memory, problem solving skills), speech, language, swallowing, and voice in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, and home health care. Her profound passion in working with individuals with Parkinson's disease led her to seek out specialized training and certification in the treatment of speech and voice deficits induced by Parkinson's disease including Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD®), LSVT eLOUD® (via telehealth), and the SPEAK OUT!® therapy program.
Kayla was raised in the Shenandoah Valley and currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and two young daughters. Her commitment lies in delivering accessible, top-quality speech therapy services to individuals across Virginia through a holistic, patient-focused approach. Beyond her professional role, Kayla advocates for behavioral and mental health and strives to support others by serving as a volunteer with NAMI Coastal Virginia.
